Negra rockin’ out

Ok, so I am officially a dunce with regard to lighting videos. Apparently when shooting straight into the bright sunlight, everything else gets dark. Who knew?! But this is such a cool video of Negra, I thought I’d post it anyway. Negra loves to watch us dance for her. When we do, she bobs her head along. This video is of her watching JB dance – to Bruce Springsteen of course!

Negra is totally the queen of cool.
Check to see if your video camera has a ‘half-way down’ position on the record button. If so – you can aim your camera at a less-bright spot, press the button down half-way and lock in the aperature setting, then move the viewfinder over to your actual subject and press down the rest of the way. The camera will hang on to the locked-in setting that better shows off the dark spots but will, because of that setting, overexpose the bright spot. It’s a balancing act, depending on what you most want to have clear.
LOL – chimps love dancing! The very idea of it makes me happy. 🙂

I’m also voting to see JB dance – ok, someone get the shot – make sure you have audio, and several of you (Diana? Sarah?) dance with JB and lets see if you can get a dance party going with several humans and several chimps. And let that tape roll! 18 seconds is not enough fun for us! 😉

It’s unanimous! We all want a rockin chimp people and human people video! And I agree it has to be longer than 18 seconds. So let’s go guys, get to dancing!
