Happy Day After April Fools Day! Hopefully nobody pranked any of you too bad!
I apologize for this very brief blog! Caregivers had their biweekly staff meeting, and today’s went a wee bit longer than anticipated. So please forgive me.
I do have photos though! I hope they paint a better picture of today than any words I could conjure up!

No. Your eyes aren’t fooling you. That is Mave on the Bray! Granted it was a skirmish that initially brought her out there. She chose to hang out a bit when things died down. When the skirmish picked back up about 5 minutes later, Mave casually walked out there to give Terry and Gordo some reassurance. I decided to include this photo since it is rare to come by one of Mave on the Bray.

No need to apologize for the short or late posting, Chad. Seeing Maeve out on the Bray is well worth the wait! Who knows: perhaps in time Mora can make an al fresco appearance this Spring?

Really wonderful photos! I love seeing everyone outside, even if those darn crows have the nerve to snatch some forage! Luckily Missy and Jamie had it covered!
And Mave outside!!! First Honey B and now her! Will this be the year that those three shut-ins finally discover the wonders of the outdoors? Now we just need to get Dora out!
Love seeing photos of Foxie and handsome Cy, as well as theother chimps.Sone times feel other chimps get more notice and air space. But then, I may be biased as I sponsor Foxie and Cy, so never get tired of seeing them do their thing.
I always love seeing my Foxie friend, too. Even if she’s not doing anything crazy in the picture, I’m pretty sure she is, in her mind! :upside_down:
Hi Chad, I have a silly question for you. Is this a new thing with crows/ravens discovering that there are some good eats scattered about the sanctuary property? In all the years I have been reading the blog, I don’t recall reading about crows eating the chimps forage. Perhaps it’s been happening for years and wasn’t mentioned. However, if this is a new trend, chimps beware! Talk about the intelligence of other species. This is the meeting of great minds! Two extremely intelligent species foraging for food in one place. Let’s s face it, once the crows discovered free food for the taking, they are not going pass on the opportunity. This should set the scene for a very interesting summer! 🙂
