Burrito’s Ball

A few days ago, Grace posted a blog about Burrito having the time of his life with a scooter. In true Burrito fashion, he’s always up to something new and being silly. With that said, yesterday, I caught Burrito playing with an orange ball, which typically is ignored by him and his group members. Watching Burrito play and have fun is always one of my favorite things, as I’m sure it is all of yours too.

Today, it’s been quite warm, although nothing compared to last June’s high temperatures, so we put out some ice blocks for Jamie’s group. I’ve never seen Jamie so excited. She practically screamed when she saw me bring them out. Her enthusiasm didn’t stop for at least an hour. All six of the chimps took turns with the 3 blocks we put out. You will even see Missy in the video walk away with one, which she took up for her and Annie. Such a good friend!

Burrito does love to watch the neighbors! He has such a little boy face, it’s hard to believe he turned 40 not long ago!

What a super smart boy to fetch a higher perch to watch those neighbors. The ice treats were a big hit. Do chimps get a brain freeze like we do?

They think so. Foxie showed signs when eating snow once, so they brought her esrm tea

it never ever ceases to amaze me how brilliantly clever and resourceful the chimps are. Burrito grabbing the barrel to sit on to be taller to be able to see more outside. ahhhh!

How about snow cones?:shaved_ice:…. Shaved ice is so satisfying…….Better then a Block when you want your Thermostat to drop Fast:yum:…………I think Burrito gets more action on Kongs ……than anything else. Enjoy your Ball Little Man

I couldn’t love Burrito more if I tried. He is too much, always makes me laugh. First he tries to sit on his orange ball to spy on neighbors but it’s way too small. Then it’s back to his little blue table. (His body language alone cracks me up! Especially when he ignores your calls to him.) Then, ahhh yes, it’s back to his big blue perch! Perfect height for full spy friendly reconnaissance!

I love those big juice cubes too! Wonderful they brought Jamie so much joy. Can’t believe Missy carried one up to share with Annie. Very sweet (and perhaps slightly greedy:)!) Instead of brain freeze Missy must have suffered hand freeze from hoisting that cube upstairs!
