It’s the time of year when everyone just wants to curl up with a blanket or ten, chimps included. Earlier today, I posted this photo of Negra to our Facebook page:

This gave me the idea to go through some of our older photos and collect some of the chimps cuddling up. Negra is the biggest blanket enthusiast, but the others enjoy getting comfy too.

Beautiful and snuggly….I’m jealous of that “under the floor” heating. I’m wondering, could the chimps use some sherpa blankets? A friend gave me one, they’re very lightweight and soft, but super toasty. Only thing is, they can’t be dried on high heat, just low. Would that be too high maintenance for the staff?

Thanks so much for thinking of us, Linda. 🙂 Our blanket storage area is currently at max capacity, but I’m sure we’ll be needing more blankets at some point in the coming years when we take in more chimps, so please keep us in mind for the future!

Will do……..but no one will appreciate these super soft things like Queen Neggie, I think!

Oh My Goodness! If that didn’t just make my entire day, swell my heart with pure joy, and make me love them all the more. Oh what fun it must be to dig through your photo archives. Thank you Elizabeth, these images are priceless.

What fabulous photos. I forgot about the heated floor–it sure MUST BE SNUGGLY.
