I love “The Queen” both ways, but for some reason the color brings out her beautiful features.
I believe I like the colored photos just a bit more than black and white. It really makes no difference, since I love every picture.
I guess it’s my age but I always thought of B& W as being the traditional. None the less all of the pictures of Queen Negra are lovely. Yet, I do prefer the Black and White.
If it’s Negra, both have to be perfect. The color does show a bit more personality, though b/w is beautiful for artistic purposes and portraits.
what a great question and matter of opinion, of course. in this case, I prefer the pictures of Negra in color. I have to admit that I was surprised. of the very recent, my sister has been taking some really beautiful pictures of her sons in black and white and I have been absolutely loving them. even more-so than the beautiful colored-ones. and so again, my vote is for “color” of “sweet neggie.” but I love them all no matter.
I wonder what Negra would prefer. She looks great in either mode, but I think that capturing the brown
in her eyes is important.
I couldn’t decide. The lovely Queen Negra is always beautiful!
Color! It seems more lifelike! Such a sweet chimp! Love and hugs to you all
I am partial to colored photos of these wonderful members of our
world because I feel color just brings out their personalities more.
I agree with Tobin, the color brings out her eyes (though I also agree with everyone else, that Queen Neggie is beautiful, regardless!)
The Queen looks so sophisticated in black and white! But no matter which format, I will
always bow down to her. Negra, and all the chimps, have such amazing faces.
I would love to know what they are thinking, every moment of every day.
I enjoy studying Negra’s features in black and white, especially her freckles. But in full color, as Tobin points out, Negra’s eyes say so much. Those eyes look soft, sometimes sad, oftentimes twinkly, but they are always heartearmingly expressive. And her white freckles are soft pink and white in color, I love that.
Black and white, duatone, full color, no matter what, Negra is absolutely, positively lovely!
I love Negra’s photo in color since it is much more realistic of her true “colors” 🙂 I also think it’s important to see her beautiful brown eyes. Although, she just doesn’t look anything but real no matter any format of the photography! 🙂
Why isn’t my comment from yesterday included here? It was showing on the page once I submitted it. Not an earth-shattering issue, I’d like my love included, too.
strike that post. Now I see it. But it takes work, doesn’t it?
I love both as well but prefer the color. Negra’s beautiful soul comes across in any picture.
That’s Regal, not real! 🙂
