The chimpanzees didn’t have much of a view in the lab.

My, how that’s changed.

Heartbreaking how they lived for decades! It is remarkable that they all recovered and are thriving. It is a happy ending story!

It’s good for all of us to see and remember this first picture in order to appreciate what caring people have accomplished. I am hoping your dream of bringing more lab chimps to your wonderful sanctuary is realized very soon.

It is amazing how well they all are now they have the freedom to roam on Young’s Hill. Does make you wonder if they are mentally scarred but I hope the love and care they have now makes up for their previous pasts. Long may they live and be happy. Thank you so much for all you do and here’s hoping the expansion goes ahead and more get the chance to experience the nearest thing to freedom

That first photo is heartbreaking as is the look on J.B’s face as his heart is breaking at that very moment. It is haunting but this is where one can also see love and compassion in the world in the following photographs…Thank-you all so much!

PS. I just noticed for the first time the fingers in the first cage…does J.B. remember who that was?
