Feel that heat!

The sanctuary has been experiencing a summer-like heatwave these last couple days. As a result, the chimpanzees have been keeping cool lounging next to breezy doorways. Warm weather with bright green grass still on the hill… we could get used to this!

What beautiful girls. They both so peaceful and content.
We had hot weather last week, went from days that were in the high 50’s to 90+ for a few days. It was hard to adjust and I will confess, I didn’t take to the heat as well as Foxie and Jody!
