Foxie doing nothing much

We often post videos of the chimpanzees playing, grooming, foraging, or engaged in some other activity.  But I think it’s sometimes the quieter moments when not much is happening that are my favorite moments of the day (like Burrito chewing gum).  These moments don’t often make it to the blog, I suppose because we don’t think people will find them very exciting or interesting.  But this short video of Foxie being Foxie really made me smile.

I fully understand,.. the chimps don have to do anything in order for us to be intrigued, or notice them. I love them all , exactly for who they are now and and for all they’ve been through,, Foxie is absolutely endearing and loveable… I would love to see more of these .. chimps being chimps, themselves and natural,, they are all special and beautiful.
Thank you Elizabeth,, for giving us our chimp videos,
, I know I look forward to them every day,,

Couldn’t agree with you more Elizabeth. Love to simply just watch them “be”. Will never tire of looking at Foxie’s sweet face.

Thats my girl! She is one of my favorites. I love watching all the videos no matter what they are doing. Keep them coming. Question: Does Foxie always have a troll or other type of doll with her? Thanks 🙂

Not always, but it’s very rare to see her without one. 🙂

ditto, ditto….watching anything they are doing…even just sitting quietly, thinking, is very interesting to all of us, I’m sure. We don’t need to be entertained…we love their quiet moments as well as their more active times. I loved the clip of Burrito chewing gum, as well as this one of Foxie…they are all wonderful! Thanks for sharing them with us! 🙂

I would have to agree with everyone. I enjoy watching them just be themselves regardless of how funny, silly, or entertaining it is. I could sit for hours and just watch them sleep if that’s all we could get.

It’s nice seeing Foxie and Burrito (with the last blog) just chillin’ out.
