Happy Holidays from the Cle Elum Seven. They thank you for all of the gifts, wishes, and support! It was a great day full of gifts, goodies and gratitude. Lots of photographic proof below:

Burrito with gift bag

Burrito using his foot to help open a gift box

Foxie, a blur with her new big pink-haired troll

and with her special Mrs. Claus troll

Jamie investigating a purse full of gifts

Jody deciding that the decorations are as much fun as the toys

plus you can wear them!

Missy surrounded by gifts

Negra in Christmas sun – it was sunny all day!

Annie with handfuls of Field Roast and mashed potatoes

Jody getting full on mashed potatoes, carrots and celery

Missy with a cup full of cranberry sauce and a piece of Field Roast

Negra, from behind, with Field Roast

Burrito loves mashed potatoes!

And watching their new TV!!! We showed them “all about chimpanzees” Burrito was mesmerized. He watched it about seven times.

Jody and Foxie were also really interested. Here’s Jody’s reaction

OMG! These pictures are wonderful! It looks like they all had a blast! How fun it must have been to watch them tear open gifts then eat, probably grunting, the foods they love. I would love to see them watch their new TV and hoot and pant with the chimps on screen. It was certainly a wonderful first Christmas for the Cle Elum Seven. Thank you all to all who made it possible!!!!!!

Thanks for the pictures. I love the Mrs. Claus troll, Jody wearing the tinsel, I couldn’t believe Negra wasn’t wearing a blanket. What is field roast? The seven seem to really enjoy it. I agree with Burrito mashed potatoes are good. To the Santa who gave the t.v., good for you. I’ve been checking all afternoon for today’s blog, it was worth it.

I was unable to get to the blog until just recently and the wait was definitely worth it. Oh what joy to see the chimps thoroughly enjoying everything about their first Christmas. Thank you Diana for the posts. It was wonderful!
Cindy, I have to rub it in just a little… I just finished sitting outside in the hot tub and the temperature of the air was still hitting 68 degrees here in San Antonio! Last night we were at a dinner party and sat outside until about 8PM. Oh the joy of being in t-shirt and crop pants weather!!! (Actually I miss the snow!)
