This morning the chimpanzees looked absolutely heavenly with the beautiful grassy backdrop that was Young’s Hill. Being surrounded on all sides by green seems like the absolute perfect way to celebrate Earth Day don’t you think?
Negra’s Earth Day snack of choice seemed to be blades of grass and all parts of the dandelion.
Here’s Missy as she finally put on the brakes after doing an Earth Day “fun run.”

What a wonderful Earth Day gift to see photos of our chimp friends so content on the hill.
I can’t think of better way to celebrate today than getting outdoors, eating dandelions, patrolling your corner of the earth, soaking in the warm sun like a sponge, and running like the wind. Like Jane Goodall, the gang at CSNW all celebrate each and every day as if it were Earth Day. Just as it should be!
