Hi Everyone!

My name is Kelsi and about two weeks ago I started as the new part-time caregiver at CSNW. I am originally from Washington State and went to college at Central Washington University in Ellensburg where I majored in Primate Behavior & Ecology and Psychology. I was a caregiver at the Fauna Foundation in Quebec, Canada for about two years and just recently returned back to the United States! As a new staff member at CSNW, I am just now starting to learn how to work with the sanctuary’s camera. Today was my first trial run taking photos of the Cle Elum 7, so please  continue to follow me on my journey and see my photography improve over time!

    Great photos, Kelsi!

I’m so glad you’ve selected the best job in the world: being in service to primates!

    I’ll be watching for more…

Aren’t you just about one of the luckiest people in the world. First you get to hang out with Loulis and Tatu (not to mention Sue Ellen and all the other wonderful chimp people at Fauna Foundation) and now you’re at CSNW with the Cle Elum Seven. You are so fortunate to work in a field that makes such a significant difference in the lives of these deserving chimpanzees. I’d say you’ve mastered that camera, your photos are wonderful! Especially love Annie’s profile pic.
