Hurry up and play
December 14, 2012 by J.B. -
Missy tends to speed up in the winter. I think she knows she won’t be able to stay outside as long so she has to cram all of her activities into ten-minute bursts.
Yesterday, she ran outside and immediately started to climb all of the structures.
Then she jumped off of them.
While climbing a structure at the top of the hill, she noticed something.
Ice is somewhat of a delicacy for chimps and Missy is good at finding it.
Of course, wherever there’s a Missy, there’s an Annie close behind, trying to catch up.

Oh my goodness, check her out, incredible. They certainly make the best of every season. Good for you Missy and Annie, we all love to see you enjoying yourselves on the hill,,Bless your sweet little hearts,,
Of all the Seven I am amazed that Missy survived years and years of being crammed into tiny cages. She loves to move, how could she stand those years and remain the beautiful spirit she is?
Maybe it was the strong bond between Annie and Missy that kept Missy so strong. They always seem to be there for each other. That’s what great friends are all about.
I love it! Are there any other “ice traps” for her to check out?
Yes, there a few tires that collect a little bit of water
So cool…love to see them out and about and their freindship is an inspiration.
On another note, how is jody’s toe doing?
Her toe is great. She’s been off antibiotics for almost four weeks now and it has healed over well.
