I’ve said it a few times before, but Burrito is a very photogenic and handsome chimp, but then he would have to be residing with 6 ladies!! Fantastic photos once again.

Ohhhhh my sweet Burrito! I can’t figure out the one thing that makes him so adorable. He sort of smiles, but he also has lovely eyes. It doesn’t matter… I love him no matter what. 🙂

Burrito is drop dead one heck of a hunk! But oh that second picture just melts my whole body from head to toe. He just looks at you with those eyes and it’s all over!

Happy late Birthday Jackie! Hope it was a fantastic day!!!

Seeing Burrito’s face always brightens my day!

Great photos. Boy, his human “keepers” really mutilated his right ear. I’m just glad that he has found peace in Cle Elum.

Those EYES! They are so expressive. There has to be some intelligence behind them.

Burrito is absolutely gorgeous. Those eyes hold such charm and intellingence. How can anyone look at that face and not adore him?! Muahhh to you, Mr. B!

Burrito doesn’t have a very prominent browbone like the others. His eyes aren’t as deep set and have a more human look to them, especially when he’s looking directly at the camera. He resembles both of his parents, I see a lot of his mother, Karen, and his father, Mack.

Where are the pictures of Burrito’s parents?

  15. Avatar Jackie on April 5, 2011 at 7:48 am

Diane- Both Karen and Mack lived at Save the Chimps, and both have passed away. Here is the photo of Mack- https://staging.chimpsnw.org/2010/08/mack/ And Karen- http://www.savethechimps.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=photo.album&id=236&

Jackie-Burrito certainly does look like his parents. Where is Save the Chimps located.

    • Avatar Jackie on April 6, 2011 at 4:30 pm

Technically, Save the Chimps is located both in Alamogordo, NM and in Fort Pierce, FL. Their founder, Carole Noon, who passed away last year, took over The Coulston Foundation (a biomedical facility) in Alamogordo in 2003. Most of the nearly 300 chimps who were there have already been relocated to their island homes in Florida, but some are still in NM awaiting transfer. STC is a fabulous place with a fascinating story. Check out SavetheChimps.org for more info.

Did Save The Chimps have a custody battle with Primarily Primates?

        • Avatar Jackie on April 11, 2011 at 7:41 am

No, Save the Chimps was not involved in the custody battle with Primarily Primates.
